The objective of GENOSTEM is connective tissue repair via engineering of adult Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs). Age related degenerative disorders (such as osteoporosis, osteoarthritis) are amongst the diseases with the highest socio-economic impact requiring hospitalisation, rehabilitation and home care. To address these diseases our 'bench to bedside' strategy is oriented around 7 thematic areas or 'workblocks':
